Candice’s journey into rail has been a great challenge for her and the start of an incredible path into a rail career.

Candice was unemployed before she started the course and had no prior tickets or qualifications in the rail industry. She said that rail was always a career that had piqued her curiosity, but had no idea where to start or look. She saw the opportunity to join NIS’s training course and dived straight into it.

She found it challenging but had high spirits throughout the course.

Her trainers would describe her as someone who held her own, adapted well to the environment, had a sense of independence, and was always a delight to speak to. Candice is a good communicator, a hard worker, and was punctual throughout the training course, which is vital for a career in rail.

The whole team at NIS are extremely proud of Candice and can't wait to see her progress in the rail industry.
